Action required
against the tyrant regime of
Syria.
Honorable members.
Please allow me to give you a brief description
of all the atrocities committed by Syria against Lebanon and
Lebanese people since 1976.
Syria’s violent actions against innocent Lebanese
and national leaders should not
be accepted by the world community by any means,
Syria should be held
responsible for its atrocities against Lebanon,
and forced to pay retribution for its terrorism against the Lebanese
people.
Lebanon loss of lives is shocking as a result of
Syria’s expansion agenda against the sovereign nation of Lebanon and
its people. Let me start by describing what has happened in Lebanon
under Syrian domination.
Direct
Assassinations.
Syria is responsible for plotting assassinations
of many Lebanese national leaders and patriots who took a stand
against them, the following is a list of the entire killing carried
out directly by Syrian agents and their proxies.
Mr. Riyad Taha chairman of the Lebanese
press.
Mr. Salim allousi reporter.
Mr. Dani shamoun head of the Lebanese Liberal
party executed Stalin style with his wife and 2 little kids on Oct
13th 1990. A Syrian proxy loyal to Assad’s regime carried
it out.
Mr. Kamal Jumblat who was executed in 1977 close
to a Syrian checkpoint in the shouf region. He was the head of the
Druze sector, and was the first to oppose the Syrian presence in
Lebanon.
9-15-85
Sunni Mufti Hassan Khalid for refusing to
accept Assad’s proposal to dominate the Sunni’s sector of Lebanon,
and the release of a statement accusing the Syrian’s army of bombing
both the East, and the west side of Beirut.
9-14-82
Assassination of President Elect Bashir Gumayel,
carried out by a proxy agent living across the street from the
Kataeb head quarter at the time, the order came from Major General
Ghazi Kenaan and was executed by Hussein Mustafa Tuliese through an
electronic wireless device.
11-28-1989
Assassination of President Elect Renee Mouawad
one week after he was elected for Meeting with General Michel Aoun
the interim Prime Minister in 1989, who is still considered the only
legitimate government according to the Lebanese constitution.
Mr. Subhi Alsalih, Louis Dolmar and Francis
Milowe.
5-24-1982
Bombing of the French Embassy in Beirut.
2-20-1981
An assassination attempts on the Arch Bishop for
the Roman Chatholic in the Middle East Maksimos Hakim the fifth, in
the town of Bahamdon Beirut, Damascus highway.
4-19-83
Bombing of the American Embassy in Beirut 15
killed and over 70 injured.
9-18-1986
Assassination of Mr Christian Gutier a French
Embassy attachee.
This entire spree of killing was done through an
associate of General Ghazi Kenaan Mr. Husein Mustafa
Tuliese, who is living under an assumed name in Damascus today
in the vicinity of Romane st, and working as a guard at the Tadmour
Prison torturing innocent Lebanese as we speak.
Massacres
against innocent Lebanese.
The Syrian regime
carried out many massacres aimed at widening the conflict among the
Lebanese by Syrian agents and local militias loyal to Assad’s
regime.
The towns are.
Alashieh, Dar ashash, the town of Zahli major Christian city in the
Bekah valley, UNESCO in Beirut, the town of Damour where more than
500 killed and over 1000 injured, kids where seen by eye witnesses
fleeing the town, pushed aside after they have been raped and
maimed, some of them were without any limps left bleeding on the
side walks to die like animals. Eyewitnesses vividly recall seeing
some kids without any fingers shopped off completely as a message to
Christians by Syria not to seek any retribution of any kind. More
than 600 women taken away by the Yarmouk Brigade loyal to Syria and
Arafat raped and maimed in the Tal Alzater Camp in Beirut hang
upside down and left bleeding to death.
Other massacres were
carried out in the towns of Bab Altini, Bessouse, Bedadoune,
Alhadath, Beeabda and Kahali between 1976 and 1990, under the nose
of the world community, and without any considerations for human
rights whatsoever.
Aside from all the
mass killing and the 150,000 thousands who died as a result of the
Syrian plot to undermine Lebanon and take complete control over its
affairs, we have more the 17,000 people still missing as a result of
Syrian arrests and kidnapping, and where more than 172 innocent
Lebanese still detained in Syrian jails including 2 priests abducted
by Syrian forces on Oct 13, 1990 enduring a tremendous torture from
electric shock up to 5000 volts to acid poured on them, and their
private parts causing the victims to die at times from all the pain
inflicted on their bodies.
It is believed
according to Mr Nezar Nayuof ,a Syrian human rights activists
residing in Belgium currently, where he claimed through a letter to
President Chiraque the existence of a mass grave site in the
vicinity of the Tadmour Prison, where it is believed more than
17,000 people have been buried, 1,500 of them are Lebanese, Mr.
Nayouf claims that he has seen the pile of bodies himself.
Such atrocities by
Syria against Lebanon should not be tolerated by any means, we are
demanding that a criminal case of war crime to be opened against the
Syrian regime for the killing and kidnapping of Lebanese civilians,
and the destruction of Lebanon. The world community should not stand
aside and watch tyrant regimes like the ones in Syria ravage
Lebanon, and destroy it for their hidden agendas and war games.
It is our hope that
the International court takes a stand against tyrants wherever they
are regardless. Killing innocent civilians and maiming their bodies
should not be acceptable by any one, the world community should be
outraged of the Syrian atrocities against the sovereign nation
Lebanon, and use any means necessary to bring those responsible to
Justice.
